U.S.  minted money errors and varieties exist.  For instance, I had a job I loved that meant a lot of cash and change flowed through my fingers.  Furthermore, after I read a news story about minted money errors and another about a penny that sold for more than $20,000.00 at a coin auction, I was intrigued, and decided to embark on the exciting endeavor of hunting for minted oney errors.

First, some of the unique coins I’ve kept, while others I examine and write about via markedmoney.tech, and then list on auction sites like Ebay for coin collectors to purchase or bid on.



The Benefits of Searching & Coin Collecting are Numerous

For instance, not only has this hobby for natural born detectives changed how I handle money, by influencing me to observe before spending, there’s a lucrative market that exists for sellers too!   For instance, selling variety and error coins is one way to make money from home.




In other words, various collectors seek to add to the uniqueness and value of their own personal coin collections.  Looking for variety coins and cash errors is like finding  prizes in your pocket worth more than as appears.  Furthermore, people really can get rich with pocket change!

For instance, a rare U.S. 1965 Doubled Die Obverse Washington Quarter Dollar in high mint state grade provided the finder with a generous $4,700.00 finder’s fee!

Check out more doubled die variety 1965 quarters available!  I didn’t know anything about this 1965 quarter dollar coin until I found the one in the image above in my change after work one evening.   I’ve linked the information I found when I sought out about it.

First, I armed myself with a bright light and magnifying glass to see if it had such errors on it.  Sure enough I thought I had a winner!  Practice makes the master so I aim to get better with time.

Furthermore, I eventually learned the 1965 quarter I found was actually known as “strike doubling” or “machine doubling” and not a genuine doubled die.  However, it’s still a neat find, and people do buy them from Ebay.

Additionally, I purchased a USB Coin Microscope, which lets me see clearly without straining my eyes, and double check for coin errors.  Finally, I’ve found several doubled die varieties using a great microscope! Please subscribe, and like the recordings of my coin examinations.  Thank you!




Additionally, observe a unique U.S. minted money error quarter I found when I first began searching for W quarters.  In other words, it’s a 2020 “W” or West Point minted Weir Farm Connecticut Quarter Dollar with a reverse die crack.  I learned about these rare collectible coins from the memo about the Great American Coin Hunt.

 

Furthermore, though there is still much to discover, I’ve read and have been learning a lot about coin collecting, valuable variety coins, and mint errors worth more than face value.   This is how some people work from home.
